Southeast USA Grapplers

Still seeking one or more regular training partners here at the house – indoors/outdoors– in Arlington VA. Getting in training 2 or 3 times a week would be ideal spread amongst 3 or 4 guys to avoid getting too locked in to a single man's wrestling style.

Arlington VA---The outlook has improved recently–finding more wrestling mates; but still seeking enough local really-into-it type guys, so I can seriously train–meaning at least 2 or 3 guys a week. wrestling-judo-mma, etc. –but that would be in addition to 2-3 learning/training/sparring meetups. The goal is simple---to become much better at it.

Spruce and I are going to wrestle for real early this afternoon. I've wrestled him before. He's a great opponent and a gracious host.

Woo hoo – A break in the wrestling famine of nearly 10 months. Makes up for the three rather curt F-Us I got yesterday from guys on the sites. Dan's a great person. Maybe this break is an indication more wrestling down the pike.

It might seem like a dumb question; but does anybody in the Washington DC/Northern Virginia area wrestle on weekends? Sure miss the old DC Wrestling Club which met downtown on Sundays years ago. Could stand some action.

Here in Arlington, am always looking for guys to visit and hit the mats. I recommend Dan highly–one of the nicest and is genuinely 100 percent into wrestling. He's near the top of the list of my favorites. I live in northern Virginia about 25 miles south of Washington DC. I'm looking to expand my pool of potential wrestling partners. I like matches best where we are both trying to win. I also like to explore the other guys interests.

My wife and I travel in our motorhome often. We will probably spend a good part of the summer on the Virginia North Carolina border (Buggs Island Lake for example). If you are anywhere in our area please drop me a note and maybe we can meet.
