well, its nuanced. I cant answer for others, but in my case"vacuum" dopes not mean "inflexed". It means vacuum - there's no slop to protect you, and your abss are in a very vulnerable and weak position. But if you work up - they are protecting although the small give can provide what someone below called "wonderful agony"

Ok it depends on how much tough the punchee's abs are anyway. so maybe i have better to work out for a while before having a similar experience

puncher needs to take responsibility to not hurt you.

But yea, muscle tone is important.

Some do take punches with relaxed abs...can be risky if they are hard

I love taking punches like this, it’s such a deep impact that just makes my whole body writhe in wonderful agony
