Great story, I us to wrestle with my younger sisters boyfriend. He was shredded at 132lbs . I would jab his abs , soon we were rolling around. . He was faster than I so eventually he got the submission. But that was fun.

So instead of "my dad can beat your dad." Its, "I can beat your dad?" Was there a lesson behind any of this?

I have a son 14 yo and his friend is 13 yo and a wrestler. We were in the garden a week ago and he really said he think he can beat because I’m not a wrestler. My son was laughing as well but after drinking a beer I said come on let’s try it. I was not really ready for his speed and ended up on the ground after a throw. He immediately went on me put my arm on my back and pushed my face into the gras and I couldn’t do nothing against it

Arm to the back is called a hammerlock
It's not really a submission hold but more just a hold to control where you're moving when your arm's pinned vs your spine
Most often used by Polizei Kamarade

Back about 15 yrs ago when my nephew was just a teen we'd do some light mma and tap out to each other the odd time here and there
Like the other guy in this thread his main advantage he had on me was his speed
